LAYTON a€" William Ames Warren, 85, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Apple Village Assisted Living.

He was born October 30, 1925 in Anaconda, Montana.

William married Gertrude Elaine Scott on July 4, 1947 in Evanston, Wyoming. She preceded him in death.

He served in the Marines in World War II and retired from HAFB.

William liked fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his daughter, Sheila Gleason, Layton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife and son, Charles E. Warren.

No services will be held.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
