William “Bill” Keith Wilson

Bill, loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather, returned home to his Father in Heaven Saturday, March 15, 2014 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was born December 17, 1932 in Salt Lake City, to William Alma Wilson and Gertrude Porter Wilson, the youngest of seven children. He graduated from West High School, and soon went into the Air Force, where he served for four years in Amarillo, Texas.  While serving, he married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Lee Stout, in the Salt Lake Temple on October 2, 1952.  Later they settled in the Salt Lake area, and then moved to Kaysville, Utah in 1967, where they still reside.  Bill served faithfully in the LDS church as Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, a teacher in the Special Needs Mutual, an Ordinance Worker in the Bountiful Temple, and more.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, and 5 of his 6 children: Keith (Cathy), Clifford (girlfriend Shirlee), Valerie (Kirk), Matthew (Laura) and Timothy (Christine).  He has 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son Steven, parents, and siblings. 

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the Caregiver Support Network, the staff at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, and all others who offered prayers, service and love on his behalf.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville LDS Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East, Kaysville.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
