William “Bill” Dake Wood passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010.
He was born March 10, 1924 to John William Wood and Ethel Fullmer.
Bill was a veteran of World War II serving in Europe.
He graduated with a B.S. from the U of U.
Bill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He worked with the scouts and young men throughout his life.
He was the owner of Celeste Draperies for 38 years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wilma L. Morgan; their children, W. Bernice Hainsworth, DeeAnn and Bill Johnson, William D. Wood, David Wood, and Scott and Debbie Jo Wood; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a daughter, MaryLou, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15th at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 - 9:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 S. State Street, Sandy, UT.
