William “Bill” Ernest Grimes, 74, passed away on June 16, 2018 in Ogden, Utah.  He was born August 6, 1943 in La Plata, Maryland to Aaron Sidney and Effie Mae Cooksey Grimes.  He married Kathleen Snow Kilfoyle on July 10, 1964 in Kaysville, Utah.  They were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on July 10, 1982.

Bill served his country in the United States Air Force.  He later retired as an aircraft mechanic.  He lived in Maryland, Texas, Guam, Arkansas, Utah, Arizona and Idaho.

He loved spending time with his family, playing games, four wheeling, shooting guns, gardening and going on road trips.  Bill had such a big heart, was a very caring man and made friends everywhere he went.  He enjoyed retirement life, living in Malad, Idaho.  He always kept busy.  He will be forever remembered by his many words of wisdom.

Bill was preceded in death his wife Kathleen (Kitty), brothers Donald “Ben”, Chayton “Butch” and his sister Judy.  He is survived by his children Todd (Wendy), Troy, Trent, and Cheryl Grimes; sister-in-law Gerri (Richard) Potter, Brothers Aaron Sidney Jr., Edward (Lori), Raymond (Barbara), Steven (Bonnie) and his sister Jeannie (James “Peewee) Wenk, 13 Grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Interment, Farmington City Cemetery, Friday June 22, 2018 at 3 p.m.
