Willie Robbins Hutchison

Willie Robbins Hutchison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in her home.

Willie was born on December 15, 1936, the third of four children to Francis Robbins and May Jacobson, in Brigham City Utah, where she lived until she graduated from Box Elder High School.

She began working at Continental Trailways as a stewardess where she met her first husband Robert R Reitzel, who adopted her son, Michael W Reitzel. They had one son, Ronald R Reitzel and two daughter’s Zola M Versemann and Francis L Reitzel. They later divorced and she met the love of her life Thomas C Hutchison. They were married August 20, 1976. She became a step mother to Vicky L Small, Sandra M Chase, and Thomas L.R. Hutchison, and had one of their own, Jennifer C. Conley.

Following the death of her daughter, Francis, they raised their three granddaughters Ashley, Jaci, and Megan. During their 42 years of marriage they lived in many different states and together served an 18 month LDS mission to Adam-Ondi-Ahman.

She is survived by her husband Thomas, her sons Michael and Ronald, step-son Thomas, her daughter Jennifer, step-daughters Vicky and Sandra, as well as 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Francis and May, her sisters Maxine and Layla, her brother Louis, her daughters Francis and Zola, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Foxglen Ward, 3649 W. 4800 S. Roy, UT. The family will meet with friends Thursday August 30, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W 5600 S. and Friday, August 31, from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.

The family requests that instead of wearing black, that the attendees wear Willie’s favorite color, green.

A special Thank You to the wonderful staff at Hearts for Hospice, along with Dr. Kurt Flinders and the staff at Tanner Clinic Roy Office. The care and kindness you gave Willie over the last few years are greatly appreciated. Also, a special thank you to all of Willie’s family and friends.
