Willie Wright Jr

Willie Wright Jr. Clearfield - Willie Wright Jr. passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the University of Utah Medical Center. Willie was born to Willie Wright Sr. and Maggie Williams in Seneca South Carolina. Dad loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, chase the little white ball around the golf course and enjoyed all things sports. Dad served 27 years in the USAF and later work at Hill AFB before retiring. He was a member of Mount Ogden Lodge #20. Willie met and married the love of his life Barbara West on November 15, 1957. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his son Bruce and daughter-in-law Emma of Spokane; son Jeff of Salt Lake; son Greg of Spokane; and daughter Leah and son-in-law Tim of Virginia; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Daisy and Tommie. Dad will be remembered by his many friends and family who knew him. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
