Willis “Bill” Clyde Taylor

Willis “Bill” Clyde Taylor, 81, passed away on June 29, 2014. He was born in El Dorado, KS to Virgil Clyde and Verna Edna Martindale Taylor. He was raised and attended school in Kansas. Following graduation, Bill joined the Navy and received an honorable discharge after serving for four years.
He traveled the world working on aircraft as a private contractor and later worked civil service and retired from Hill Air Force Base.
Bill is survived by his son, Mark (Michelle) Taylor, Canon City, CO; daughter, Gay Lynn (Bobby) Story, Canon City, CO; two grandchildren, Alexander and Jayme; and one great-grandson, Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joyce Wimberly.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
