WASHINGTON TERRACE a€" Wilma Mae Anderson Griffiths passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

She was born December 6, 1924 to Verl and Nellie Anderson in Elwood, Utah. She was the eldest daughter of seven children. In her youth, she spent many enjoyable hours swimming and skating on the canal by the family farm in Garland, Utah. She graduated from Bear River High School and USAC (now Utah State University).

Wilma married Daniel J Griffiths on February 21, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple. They spent 63 wonderful years together. They were blessed with seven children, Gregory Jack Griffiths (deceased), Jerry Jerel Griffiths, Jeanne (Allan) Lonas, Ann (David, deceased) Balls, Scott Daniel Griffiths, Sue Dawn (Scott) Barney, and April (Eric) Storey.

Wilma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she faithfully served and shared her musical talents. She was admired by many for her kindness and her testimony was unshakeable.

She is survived by her loving husband, six of her children, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren (with more on the way), one brother, Don Anderson, two sisters, Elaine Lang, Carol Spackman, and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Gregory, her parents, three brothers, and one son-in-law.

The family expresses special thanks to Seini, her caregiver.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2nd at 12 noon at the Washington Terrace 7th Ward Chapel, 4855 South 300 West. Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Ward Chapel from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.

Interment, Clarkston, Utah Cemetery at 4 p.m.
