Wilma Wood

Wilma LeNore Morgan Wood

June 24, 1926 ~ October 27, 2021

Wilma LeNore Morgan Wood was born to Mary Christine Louise Dietrich and Nello Willard Morgan in Lorenzo, Idaho, June 24, 1926. On October 27, 2021, Wilma passed away peacefully in her home with her daughter, Bernice by her side.

She attended college until she married William Dake Wood on June 14, 1947. She was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 9, 1956. They had six children, Wilma Bernice Wood Hainsworth, DeeAnn Wood Johnson (William K), MaryLou Wood Barraki-deceased, William Dewey Wood, David Lamont Wood, and Allen Scott Wood -deceased (Debi Joe Webster).

She and Bill owned Celeste Draperies for over 40 years which supported her family. She had the honor of sewing draperies for many chapels, as well as the conference center in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Los Angeles temple.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, two children, MaryLou and Allen Scott, and four grandchildren. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter who loves her.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, UT. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 S. State St., Sandy, Utah.
