Winnifred Lee Wadman Morgan

Winnifred Morgan passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Friday, May 23, 2014. She was born in Brigham City, Utah on July 18, 1922 to John Henry Lee and Alice Frye.
She married John Howard Wadman who passed away in 1982. She later remarried to Lester B. Morgan in 1988.
Winnifred lived in Brigham, Ogden, Layton, and Roy throughout her life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she taught Sunday school and was in the mutual program.
She worked several years at McBee’s Printing Company in Ogden. Winnifred was a member of the Eagles and Elks Lodge. She loved going to Wendover, playing bingo, SKIPBO, and shopping.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharie Lee (Ken) Strebel of North Ogden, Kathleen Call of Roy, and Tamara Lee (David) Atkinson of Clinton; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Winnifred is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Lee, Ralph Lee, and Robert E. Lee; her sister, Alice Lee Bywater; parents, John Henry Lee and Alice Frye; and granddaughter, Sarah Alice Strebel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Ogden.
