Wyatt Donal Sides

Wyatt Donal Sides passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 in Oakley, Utah. He was born at the Bountiful Lakeview Hospital February 13, 1977 

He grew up in Farmington and graduated from Viewmont High School in 1995.  Wyatt was an athlete who excelled in every sport he played, he also had an amazing rodeo career. Wyatt loved everything about the outdoors and was competitive in everything he did.

Wyatt started working for Hill Air Force Base in 2006 and worked there for 16 years. 

He was the “Jack-Of-All-Trades”. He could do almost any job or any sport you could think of and you wouldn’t even know. He was such a hard worker and loved to help others. Wyatt put everyone before himself and was the best teacher. He was a comedian who could make anyone laugh, and he could spit out a joke in the oddest moments. Wyatt had a gentle and kind soul. He could light up a smile on anyone’s face.

Wyatt loved his family. He did his best to take care of his kids and loved to watch them succeed. 

He married Shanale Ames Ledezma on August 11, 2000.  Later divorced. 

Wyatt is survived by his parents, Laurie, and Donald Sides, his siblings Monte (Crystal) Sides, and Katie Sides (Chris) Jacobs and his two kids, Talor Wyatt Sides and Kylee Dawn Sides. There is not a day that went by that he spent not thinking of them. 

We are all saddened by the loss of him. Wyatt was a great man who was loved by many. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later dad. We all love you!! 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, August 31^st from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 1^st from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
