Yolanda H. Martin
OGDEN – Yolanda Hope Martin, 54, died Monday, March 2, 2009 at her home in Ogden.
She was born January 20, 1955 in Ogden, a daughter of Richard B. and Mary Livinia Gallegos Contreras.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Yolanda loved to be around her children and especially her grandchildren. She loved to sing, barbeque at family gatherings, cook, camp and watch movies.
Surviving are her significant other, Mark Perez, her sons, Roger Jr. Martin, Anthony (Tracy) Martin, Jackie (Stephanie) Martin; her daughters, Eassy Antunez, Kathie (Ponce) Martinez, Christina (Juan) Martin; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her mother, Mary, her siblings, Alice (Joe) Patino, Irene Contreras, Tina (Manuel) Martinez, Tammy (Pablo) Martinez, Richard (Pam) Contreras, and Annabell Contreras.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her father Richard.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 – 24th Street.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. where Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
