Yolanda Faye Jones Webster

Yolanda Faye Jones Webster, 68, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma and friend passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 3, 1947 in LaGrande, Oregon the daughter of Wayne and Sigrid Jones.

Yolanda married Kirk Webster on May 8, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and a beloved temple worker in the Bountiful Temple.

She leaves an unending legacy filled with love and knowledge. She loved life, her family and passed on a vast knowledge for generations to come. She may be missed but will never be forgotten with the life she lived and lives she touched. Yolanda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and friend. She loved life’s adventures and approached every day with strength and perseverance. She was a teacher and friend to all who met her and an unbelievable storyteller. The best lesson she taught, to those who knew her, was to live your life to the fullest extent possible and to love your family. She was a HERO to many.

Yolanda was an incredible quilter and cook. She loved knitting, crocheting, camping, canning and “jeeping.”

Surviving are her husband, seven children, 21 grandchildren and sister Cathie.

Preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Kaili and Kevin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Flint Meadows Ward, 615 N. Flint Street, Kaysville. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
