"Together Again"
Yuen Y. Leo
RIVERDALE - Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Yuen Y. Leo, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 4, 2010.
She was born October 11, 1928 to Gar Tai Louie and Fung Sin Lau in Canton, China.
She immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 19, and married Gordon Y. Leo on July 12, 1947.
Yuen was a restaurateur with her husband for many years. Together they owned/operated Kim Wah restaurant in Ogden before retiring in 1986.
She worked hard at keeping Chinese traditions alive. She was a loving mother, and grandmother, her laughter was very distinct and infectious and brought a smile to everyone’s face. She always was concerned about the well-being of all of her children. Most of her friends and acquaintances will remember her generosity by the cookies and treats she would give them.
