Yvette G. Toyn WASHINGTON TERRACE – Yvette Goeury Toyn, 76, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at her home. She was born January 26, 1932 in Nancy, France, a daughter of Rene and Aline Andre Goeury. Yvette married Charles Clay Toyn on January 26, 1963 in Nancy, France. Surviving are her husband of Washington Terrace; one son, Dominique Goeury (Marina) Toyn, Sussen, Germany; two daughters, Michelle Peterson, Washington Terrace; Nancy (Jim) Peebles, South Ogden; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Marsha Toyn. Preceding Yvette in death are her parents and one son, Patrice Toyn. The family expresses thanks to Horizon Hospice with special thanks to Holly Bartlett, who became almost like a daughter to the family. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Grouse Creek, Utah Cemetery. Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family suggests donations be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.
