Yvonne Blake Burch

Yvonne Blake Burch, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016.  She was born on October 17, 1944 in Rubert, Idaho, the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Blake.

She married Norman Thomas Burch on December 27, 1963 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Yvonne loved music and shared that love as she taught music lessons in her music studio and home.  She also loved children and adopted seven of her eight, provided foster care for over 50 children, and sponsored six foreign exchange students.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Norman; sons, Norman Thomas II, Jeffrey Kent (Daniella), Robert Michael (Tiffany), Michael Paul, and Preston CJ (Bethany); daughters, Tina Elizabeth (Chris Forbes), and Jasmine Marie; seven grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Janice Strauss and Tami (Coy) Johnston.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristine Marie; parents Lloyd and Hazel; and brothers, Gary and Richard.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View 4th Ward, 3035 North 1325 West.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. and Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
