Zachary Larsen

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend, Zach Larsen, 22, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. We hope he has found the peace and comfort he has been seeking.

He was born June 6, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lane M and Callie Johnson Larsen.  Zach was raised in West Valley and Syracuse.

He graduated from Clearfield High in 2015 and was currently attending Weber State University, majoring in Supply Chain Management. He earned his Eagle Scout and served as a missionary in the Washington Federal Way Mission.

He was employed at J&J Nursery for the last three years and enjoyed his work there.

He enjoyed making music, movies, taking long drives, hiking, and hanging out with his friends.

We will miss his smile, his laugh, and his sense of humor.

Zach is survived by his parents, Lane and Callie, three sisters, Rachel (Christian) Potter, Mackenzie Larsen, Hannah Larsen, grandparents, Stephen and Sandra Larsen and Scott and Karen Johnson.

A Celebration of Zach’s life will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
