Zandra Lamar Ellsworth DeVore

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Zandra Lamar Ellsworth DeVore, 81, passed away on December 20, 2013.

She was born on May 14, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to John Edmund and Edris Allegra Seibold Ellsworth. She attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ogden High. She married Gene Thomas Thon and they later divorced. She then married Orville Richard DeVore in Elko, Nevada.

Zandra was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many various callings. She was also able to go on a Church History Tour in her travels. She enjoyed reading and woodworking, and loved traveling to Hawaii and the Caribbean. She loved helping others any way that she could.

She was a loving mother who is survived by her sons, Kevin Combe and David Thon; grandson, Dax; great-grandson, Jacob; and sisters, Maxine Johnson, Sharon Martin, and Edris (Jay) Glad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; parents; and brother, George Ellsworth.

Graveside services were held on December 24, 2013 at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
