Zelda Foster

Zelda Foster, 91, passed away December 11, 2023, at her home in Ogden, Utah, surrounded by her family. She was born September 4, 1932, in Uintah, Utah to George Kendell and Irene Harbertson. She graduated from Weber High School May 20, 1948. She enjoyed assisting her father run the family store Kendell’s Service in Uintah.

On May 25, 1951, she married Joseph Foster in Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoyed crafting, spending time at her cabin, playing cards, and spent over 20 years in Overton, Nevada during the winters.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Linda Jo (John) Flynn; granddaughter, Jamie (Kevin) Sheridan; grandson, Braedon (Olivia) Hofmann; and great-grandchildren, Carson (Rosa) Chadwick, Heather (Patrick) Chadwick, Sydnie Fonoti, Greyson Fonoti, and Elizabeth Rose Hofmann. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Foster; son, Richard Foster; granddaughter, Shanan Lea Flynn Rasmussen; five sisters, and three brothers.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Inspiration Home Health and Hospice for the care they rendered to Zelda. 

Private services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
