ZeWilla B. Bivins

ZeWilla B. Bivins, 94, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Chino Valley, Arizona.

She was born on February 17, 1917 in Nevada, Texas the daughter of Zebulum William and Sarah Elizabeth Evans Box.

ZeWilla married Howard G. Bivins on November 21, 1937 in Texas and moved with her husband to Utah in 1942. She was a long time member of the Clearfield Community Church, member of the Eastern Star, and Daughter''s of the Nile Lodge.

ZeWilla worked as a school cook and teacher''s aid for many years in Davis County Schools.

She enjoyed traveling with the Layton Trailer Club, sewing and crafts.

Surviving are daughter Golda (Gene) Mazzella, AZ; son Joe (Patricia) Bivins, TX; daughter-in-law, Mary Bivins, VA; Keith (Viki) Wassink, UT; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Mary Box and Betty Blaylock.

Preceded in death by her husband, son Howard Vernon Bivins and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Garden of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Shriners Children''s Hospital.
