SOUTH OGDEN a€" Zora Anderson died peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the age of 92.

She was born September 14, 1915 to William A. and Vivian Hendrickson Newsome.

Zora married Howard B. Beesley a€" they later divorced. She married Joseph L. Anderson and their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on June 7, 1952. Joe passed away June 9, 1995.

Zora and Joe served a full time Mission to Houston, Texas. There they worked with less active and part member families bringing many into activity. She was a temple worker in the Ogden LDS Temple and the Ogden LDS Visitors Center. She created many beautiful quilts and crocheted many blankets for her family and donated many to charitable causes. She loved to travel with her husband Joe, and visited many places in the U.S. and also other countries. She could tell you stories about every place she went and the people she met.

Zora loved to go and eat out with her special lady friends from her ward. She kept a very neat and tidy yard and enjoyed gardening. At the age of 91 she was still working in the yard she loved.

Zora is survived by her three children, Monte (Carole) Beesley, LaVerne, CA; Jeanne Duffin, Park City, UT; Connie (Brent) Figgins, Syracuse, UT; 12 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe, a twin brother, Evan, and brothers, Ira, Bill, Paul, her sister, Faye Schaar, and her son-in-law, Irvine Duffin.

A special thanks to the staff of The Family Tree Assisted Living Center in West Point, Utah, especially the love and care given by Jan Goodwin.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley 3rd Ward Chapel, 5640 South 850 East.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday, April 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the Ward Chapel 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
