Albert “Al” Garcia

June 13, 1964 ~ May 22, 2017

Our beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on May 22, 2017 due to complications associated with emergency open heart surgery.  Al was born on June 13, 1964 to Roger and Connie Garcia.

Growing up he loved playing football.  In junior high he received many awards including most valuable player, best offense, and best defense all in the same year.  He continued playing until a back injury occurred during a high school game. He remained an avid football fan; always rooting for his Indianapolis Colts.

He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need.  His compassion, love for family, and his sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Al is survived by his children, Kylan, Tesya, and Kylee; grandson, Aivyn, who was the apple of his grandpa’s eye.  He is also survived by his parents, Connie and Jack Beeler; sister, Brenda Mussells; step-brother, Tom (Cathy) Beeler; and a very special aunt, Percilla Adams.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation and special thanks to the McKay Dee Hospital ICU medical team for the compassionate and excellent care of Al.

In honor and celebration of Al’s life, funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
