Anne Allen, 66, of the Roy Monte Vista Ward, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 5, 2012. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her family and a dear friend, Gary. Anne was born on March 5, 1946, to her loving parents, Howard and Evelyn Jones Stimpson.

She married Joseph R. Allen, and was blessed with four wonderful children; Marnie (Lori), Lisa, Sadie, and Brett (Maureen). From her children came what Anne called her greatest blessings, her grandchildren, Brooke, Clarissa, Taylor, Abbie, Hannah, Brady, Morgan and Jeffery.

Anne received her bachelor''s degree from Weber State University in social work. She worked for the State of Utah Juvenile Justice Services, helping many troubled youth in need. Her unconditional acceptance touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Anne loved animals, painting, jewelry-making, watching the Utah Jazz, and spending time with her faithful companion, Bosco. Her greatest pleasure came from supporting her children and grandchildren in their endeavors.

Anne is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters Marilyn and Marie, and her brother Dennis. Her family will miss her and hold her in their hearts forever.

The Celebration of Anne''s life will take place on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Monte Vista Ward, 3845 South 2000 West, Roy. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
