Larry Elliott

April 28, 1958 — February 17, 2019

Larry Elliott our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 17th, 2019.  He was born on April 28th, 1958 to Marvin and Thelda Elliott. Larry was raised in Ogden, Utah. He joined the United States Air Force and shortly after he married the love of his life, Jodie. They began their married life while stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Vacaville, CA. They later returned to Utah and settled in Layton to raise their family.

His family knew him as a generous man that had dedicated much of his life to volunteering as a coach and referee for the AYSO and Strikers organizations.  Larry enjoyed many outdoor hobbies such as golfing, fishing, riding ATV’s and shooting. He took great pride in his family especially his daughters who he believed have grown into exceptional women with families of their own.

He is survived in death by his wife Jodie, his four daughters, Nicky Atkin (Vince), Crissy Elliott, Stephanie Elliott-Campbell (Jonathan) and Jen Elliott. Larry was blessed with nine grandchildren, Michala, Madison, Logan, Aydan, Amelya, Soren, Riley, Lincoln and Stellen. Also, surviving are his siblings, Stanley (Shirley), Pam (Joe), Kathie (Roy), Kenny and Sandy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Thelda Elliott.

Friends may visit family Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
