1948-2021

Linda Karen Rockwell Hogan, 72, passed away peacefully Monday, June 28th, 2021, in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born July 13, 1948 in Rupert, Idaho, the daughter of Carl Rockwell and Barbara Marshall.  Linda was the great-great granddaughter of the legendary Orrin Porter Rockwell.

Linda was a kindhearted and very generous soul. Her unconditional love reached from family to assisting strangers, even orphans in need. She loved her family dearly and spent her life devotedly giving guidance to all. She came into this world with a bright and heavenly smile, which touched the hearts of anyone she met. Her favorite place was the mountains or her riverfront property in Idaho. She especially enjoyed spending time researching her heritage and the hidden Spanish gold mines of the Uinta Mountains.

She is survived by her husband John Hogan; her children, Jennifer Madrid, Jay, and Jeff Wadsworth; her grandchildren, Eric Wadsworth and his wife Jennifer, Chelsea, Adam, Kasey, and Autum Madrid, also Morgan McCarthy; her great grandchildren; Elizabeth Madrid and Harley Wadsworth; her sister Vicki and husband Gary Keller, sister Debbie and husband Dan Franck; mother-in-law Wanda Pace and her husband Robert Graeber.  Preceded in death by Pearl Gibbons, Jay Rockwell, Mark Wadsworth, and grandson Brandon Madrid.

Care entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
