Nicolas Sanchez
LAYTON - Nicolas Sanchez passed away February 21, 2017. He was born December 19, 1978 and was raised in Placentia, California. He was currently working at SRS (Specialized Rail Service INC) in Ogden, Utah.
Growing up presented a lot of challenges to Nicolas, but he persevered and always tried to live a good life. He was determined to solve everyone else's problems which brought a lot of drama into his life, but he couldn't live any other way and sometimes destroyed relationships that he wished he could have kept.
Nicolas lived in Layton for the past several years and made friends daily wherever he went. He loved raising chickens, fishing, boating, being in the mountains, and dogs. He loved helping people and always made his loved ones feel safe. He loved children and interacting with them, it was a pleasure for both him and the children. His smile and laugh were contagious and would brighten any room he walked into. His voice carried as a trumpet that made everyone aware he was there so they would all come out to gather around him and listen to his funny comments and stories. He will be truly missed by many who loved him and considered him their friend.
Nicolas is now at peace and has completed his mission here on earth. He leaves behind two daughters who live in California: Mariah Sanchez 15 years old and Mahalah Hernandez 15 yrs old.
Friends may visit with family Monday, February 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Services will be held at a later date in California.
