On the day when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we lost Patricia A. Eddy, how fitting for God to choose this day to take our Angel.
Pat was born on October 20, 1938 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She graduated from Shawnee High School.
Pat married Carl E. Holt in Shawnee. From this marriage, Pat had two sons. Pat and Carl were later divorced.
Pat then married the love of her life, Henry G. Eddy Jr. Early in her career Pat worked in retail, Albion Labs, and a long career and retired from the U.S. Postal Service at the Clearfield location.
Pat loved to spend time in her beautiful garden tending to her plants with loving care while her kitty roamed around. She loved sports. Pat enjoyed cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, the Thunder, and especially the Utah Jazz.
Henry and Pat enjoyed many JAZZ games attended with friends and fellow ticket holders. Due to Henry’s special talents of wood works of art for the athletes, Pat was able to personally meet many great players throughout the years.
Mom was a very caring and compassionate person. She helped to raise her three brothers on a rural farm in Oklahoma while her mother worked jobs to help the family make ends meet.
Throughout her life, Pat was the sweetest, most thoughtful person you would ever meet. She would always put others first. She was also tough, if you crossed her or one of her loved ones, look out, her fiery red head would come out and get things set straight. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother and father Lloyd and Viva Norton, brothers, Bob, Don and Tom Benton.
She is survived by her husband Henry G. Eddy of 45 years, sons, Carl (Kim) Holt, David (Beth) Holt, step-children, Rick (Tracey) Eddy, Corey (Rhonda) Eddy, Kris Jellerson, Holly (Jeff) Freeestone, Layne Eddy and many grandchildren.
