Robert M ^c Conkie Parrish

February 16, 1950 ~ September 3, 2014

Robert M ^c Conkie Parrish, 64, of Clearfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born in Vernal, Utah to Ezra Grant and Lois M ^c Conkie Parrish, one of five children. Growing up, Robert’s family lived for a time in both Maeser and Morgan before finally settling in South Ogden.  Here he graduated from Bonneville High School before attending Weber State University.  It was also in South Ogden where Robert met and married the love of his life, Erma Flores.

Robert had a long career with Boman Kemp, retiring in 2014 after 41 years of service.  Robert loved to spend time with his family. In his spare time, he pursued a passion for wood turning and carving.  Today, his carvings are on display by family and friends throughout the U.S.

Robert lived a rich and full life, filled with joy, and compassion. His legacy will be treasured and continued by all those who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Erma Parrish; his two daughters, Lisa Parrish and Nicole Parrish; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Lynnette (Parrish) Shirley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
