Steven Leslie Jensen

September 8, 1952 ~ April 30, 2021

On Friday, April 30, 2021, Steven “Les” Jensen our loving father, brother and friend passed away at the age of 68 of natural causes. He was born September 8, 1952 in Ogden to Peter Leslie and JoAnn Jensen.

He married Diane Darlington and they had two children, Jonathan and Dion. He and Diane later divorced.

Les served honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After the military he settled in Utah and worked at Hill Air Force Base as an IT Specialist until he retired.

Although socially reserved, Les always had a true and deep love for those around him. He was stubborn yet kind, emotional yet stoic, he was here – now there, and will be forever missed.

Les is survived by his children, Jonathan Leslie Jensen and Dion Robby Jensen; and his siblings, Mike (Dianne) Jensen, Kaye Jensen, and Kathy Zaring.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Syracuse City Cemetery, 1290 South 1000 West, where military honors will be accorded. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
